Together Forever

...because life is, after all, made up of a
MILLION sometimes seemingly insignificant MOMENTS.

WISDOM and hindsight have taught us that those moments
Are the
GRANDEUR and RICHNESS of our lives.

So, we enjoy the small things now, knowing someday we will realize
Even more intensely and clearly that they are the
BIG things.

Lucy's 6th Birthday Party!!

Our Lucy lou is such a blessing and a light in our lives! We could celebrate her everyday! (She would be okay with that...)

The princesses practicing their princess wave

A birthday party just isn't complete without a pinata...

I love my Lucy girl!!! She is a REAL princess in every way!

I just love his "cheese" face. He's the best!

Lucy asked if Dad & I were going to dress up as a prince and princess... the only thing I had was the dress I wore to my bro & sis-in-law's wedding/reception during the summer 2005. Yikes! Happy to dress up for my little princess though and even more thrilled to have my Prince Charming by my side.

I love cupcake cakes. SO much easier (for me) than a cake. This one was fairly easy and turned out pretty cute!

After the party, we snuck over to the park for a bit.
These two go together like peas and carrots...

Pioneer Historical Museum, Lunch with Daddy, Church History Museum

Grandma & I were excited for this museum. The kids were just excited that Grandma was in town and that it was field trip day. I honestly didn't know what to expect of the inside and how long it would keep the kids' attention. After 1 1/2 hours, Parker called to say: no rush, just checking to see if you have an approximate time you want to meet for lunch. Wow! So much to see and do. We could have spent more time and the kids really enjoyed it!

After lunch with Daddy at the Lion House, we walked around "the Square" for a bit and snapped a few quick photos.

We didn't have as much time as we had hoped at the Church History Museum because we needed to head back home to get Kate to choir practice. But what a neat place! We will definitely make many return visits!

Jackson's 1st Basketball Season... loved it!

It was so fun to watch Jackson learn a new sport and learn to work with a new set of peers. He thoroughly enjoys team sports, so it was so surprise he had a great time this season. There was a learning curve for this rookie team (not one boy had played before), but by the last couple of games, they had really come a long way as individuals and as a team.

Jackson learned that he really enjoys a good turnover, so he became a pro at snatching the ball from his opponents.
Love to watch our boy hustle! He sure gives 110%.

Museum of Natural Curiosity + Farm Country @ Thanksgiving Point

We spent the day at Thanksgiving Point today. Grandma was visiting for the week, so we had to take her to all of our favorite places! There are never enough hours in one day to feel satisfied leaving this place.

The kids LOVE the ponies! They love the farm, the animals, and really just being outside.

 Kate LOVES horses!
 On the wagon ride!
